About Forever Is Now
“Forever is Now”
Forever is Now features over 23 artworks, prints and sculptures. Most of these artworks were brought exclusively to this exhibition from across the world. One of the masterpieces was specially created by Tsai during the Covid lockdown period and is being shown first time to the world here.
We hope to shine the limelight on the creatives, the fresh starts, and to a new perspective of life to inspire us of what lies ahead after the pandemic. Inspirations were drawn from the appreciation of slowing down and to search for a more meaningful perspective to celebrate momentary bliss.
Biography of Jacky Tsai
Tsai, was born in Shanghai, China in 1984.
He currently lives in London where he creates works of art in his studio for the last 15 years. Tsai’s artworks stems from the desire to revive traditional Chinese artisan materials like blue-and-white porcelain, Su Xiu embroidery and lacquer technique and adding a modern contemporary twist. His reflections are painted on these canvases, each with a message to convey, a vision to inspire - often blurring the lines between art & design, life & death, east & west. His works have been adopted by many world class organisations, auction houses and brands such as Sotheby’s, Christie’s Art + Tech Summit, Linley Collection, World Dream Cruises, Shanghai Tang 20th Anniversary Collection, Fosun Foundation, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), East & Oriental Express, Save Wild Tigers, Lane Crawford, Bulgari, La Mer, and Martell amongst many others.
He was also one of the top 10 Contemporary Asian Artists to Watch from
JAY CHOU X Sotheby’s event in Hong Kong in June 2021.
